If you are a Reliance subscriber and looking to have some fun, then it is time to point your mobile browser to RWorld, a WAP portal offered by Reliance Communications for both its CDMA and GSM subscribers. This app store has a plethora of goodies - SNS client, train info, Facebook zero, wallpaper, animated images, games, soccer special and much else. With the World Cup fever raging unabated, the soccer apps have turned into hot favourites.

Then there are the free downloads of wallpapers, animations and other stuff. Though some of the content may be available for free, but you might also be charged for a few apps. If you become

a subscriber to the app gallery, you can get

more apps for free. The main WAP page is categorized into various sections - Hot 'n' New, Movie Masala, Games, Caller Tunes, Mobilenet, Ringtone Search, etc.

The R Club is an exclusive section has all the latest content related to movies, music, sport and apps. R Club members can download unlimited goodies, most of them are for free. The contents of R Club can be bought, but at times after the purchase it will take you off the WAP and direct you to the Internet - outside RWorld. The WAP site occasionally doesn’t load up at all, leaving us no option but refresh/reload the page and start everything all over again.

Hot N New
This section compiles the latest updates from the sports, Bollywood and popular TV shows. It also offers an option to back up your phone by registering your number with Reliance WAP. Once the registration is complete you can start sending your contacts to a short code to back them up. You can send it either in a vCard format or SMS/MMS, but both will entail a different short code.
Though there is an Atom app for mobile payment, it cannot be downloaded into the Symbian phone, on which we tested the site. We also observed that most of the apps in this WAP are for R Club members only. The price of different products ranges starting one rupee to as high as Rs 15.

Movie Masala
Movie buffs can get hold of wallpapers, video clips, posters and box office related news from Bollywood here. The average price of the content is around Rs 15 for a single download, and you can browse through all the latest movie posters and wallpapers and download them.
You can also download MP3 songs from the movies featured. However, we faced an issue while accessing videos of a phone with large screen. All the videos seemed to get stretched on a bigger screen mainly because they have been optimised for small screens. This kind of ruined the viewing experience.

Games
This section is divided into sub sections like Bollywood games, action and adventure based games, shooting games, 3D games, EA soccer special, sexy games, WWE and action games, and cricket. You could also log into the Gamer Club,  where you can download latest games at minimal price.

Caller Tunes
The caller tunes section allows you to directly set the selected track as your caller tune, by subscribing on the WAP itself. For subscription, you will be charged Rs.30 for 30 days and each tune will cost you Rs.10 each for 30 days. There is a music box section where the monthly subscription is Rs. 25 or 40 depending on the content. An extra sum of Rs.5 per access is also charged.
Another feature available on the WAP site is the busy caller tune. Here, you are charged Rs. 3 per session. You can choose amongst more than 25 busy ringtones. Default time for BusyTune is either 1 hour or 1 day. My library is another sub-category for Caller Tunes where you can get heavy discount on subscriptions.

MobileNet
In this section you can enjoy Internet service through subscription. You can use Yahoo services, VuClip, Google services, My Gang, GetJar app store, Qik–share live video, Facebook, Twitter, ICICI Direct, etc.
Reliance WAP, as we have come across, has been a nice experience. Site navigation was easy and we were able to find what we looked for. We hope that you will have the same experience too. But some of the functions where the users have to subscribe for viewing the content were definitely a letdown. Overall, this is good WAP site, full of features and apps.
