LG is all set to bring its new entrant in the Android market

Earlier it was difficult to find an android device from LG which cost around Rs 15,000. Consumers with mid range budget need to look for Android phone in the price category of Rs 10,000 or somewhere around Rs 20,000. But it seems LG is willing to change this trend by bringing its new android handsets in the market. Recently launched LG Optimus E510 is based on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and is a full touchscreen device. It has 5.0 megapixel camera with features like autofocus, geo-tagging, face and smile detection. The device is priced at Rs 13,500 and easily available in the market. Now after E510, LG is ready to bring another Android handset LG Optimus SOL E730 in the Indian market soon. With the dimension of 122.5 x 62.5 x 9.8 mm and weighs 110 grams, the phone has 3.8 inches ultra AMOLED capacititive touchscreen. Based on Android OS, v2.3.4 (Gingerbread) it has 1 GHz Scorpion processor and Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset. The phone has internal memory of 1GB with 2 GB ROM and 512 MB RAM. Phone’s memory can be further expandable up to 32 GB with the help of Micro SD card. For connectivity options, phone support Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB and GPRS. The phone has 5.0 megapixel camera with features like autofocus, geo-tagging, face detection and can capture videos of 720 pixel at 30 frames per second. It also has secondary VGA camera for video calling. Priced at Rs 15,000, the phone is expected to be available in the market by the month of February.
