BSNL, Champion rolls out feature phones for masses

BSNL in association with Champion computers has launched a range of feature phones named as ‘Apna Phone’ for the masses. The SQ241 and SQ281 are the first two phones launched by them. Both the phones come pre-bundled with 1200 minutes of talk time on BSNL network.

The SQ241 is a dual SIM phone and comes with features like camera, video and music players. The device offers connectivity options like GPRS and Bluetooth. On the other hand the SQ281 consists of 7.1cm display and 1.3MP camera. It also comes with dual SIM functionality and come with connectivity options like Bluetooth and GPRS. Some of the additional features that come with the device are FM player, a music and video player-cum-recorder.

Kapil Wadhwa, MD, Champion Computers Pvt. Ltd. said, “The new BSNL Champion Mobile Phones bring a seamless blend of essential features and a great price range. The market in tier 2 and 3 cities is ripe for such a product offering as the consumers are becoming increasingly tech-savvy and the demand for user-friendly products is very high.”

Both the devices are priced keeping the masses in mind. The SQ241 is priced for Rs 1,399 and the SQ281 comes with the price tag of Rs 1,699.
