LinkedIn releases Windows Phone app

Now find and connect with over 161 million professionals and get the industry latest news on the Windows mobile device.

LinkedIn releases Windows app

LinkedIn, a professional social website has launched its first Windows phone app. The new LinkedIn app allows users to access real time updates from their contacts and groups. It would also allow users to explore job listings and access real time industry news.

The app also incorporates updates via Twitter from LinkedIn contacts. The app is currently available for free in the Windows Phone marketplace and would run on devices having Windows Phone OS 7.5 and above. Likewise, LinkedIn launched its iPad app as well, which was optimized for the new Apple’s innovation, iPad Retina display. This app would keep users up to date with news from the industry, explore jobs of interest and also share content with their network from anywhere.
