Smartphones sold by Indian mobile companies have mostly lingered around the 15k price barrier. With the launch Titanium S9 at an MRP of Rs 19,990, Karbon has set a new precedent and opened the gates for other Indian brands to move up in the ladder. Slated as Karbon’s flagship model, Titanium S9 features a large IPS based HD display, latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, and generous internal memory.
The Titanium S9 is a dual SIM handset with 3G connectivity and is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor and 1GB RAM. It has a 5.5-inch multi-touch display with 1280x720p resolution, 16GB internal memory, up to 32GB expandable memory, a 13MP rear camera with flash and auto-focus, a 5MP front camera, WiFi and a 2,600 mAh battery.
Calling it as the best Karbon handset yet, Shashin Devsare, Executive Director, Karbon said, “The launch of the device initiates our foray into the HD IPS smartphone category wherein we seek to satiate the consumer needs with the best-in-class technological innovations. We understand the emergent needs of consumers of smartphone devices which look brilliant and work effortlessly.”
