After carving a niche for itself in the lower end of the smartphone market, Micromax has now set its sight a bit higher with another phablet. Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas has been spotted online. The device with 5.0-inch display is now available at online stores like Snapdeal and Saholic at a price of Rs 9,999.
It is seen as a successor of the recently launched A100, which was also targeting the phablet segment. The yet to be launched device will have a dual core 1GHz processor and would be running on Android 4.0, according to tech spec sheet on the online store. It will be a dual SIM phablet with GSM+GSM support. The device boasts an 8.0-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and a front VGA camera. It also packs a 2,000 mAh battery.
Apart from launching low-end smartphones in the Indian market the company is also focusing on phablet segment, as now it has two phablets in its portfolio.
