Pantel has enlarged its tablet range in the country with the addition of a new Android powered tablet, called the Penta T-Pad WS802C-2G. The device features an 8-inch capacitive display and offers voice-calling capability via 2G SIM card slot. The company said that, the latest tablet is built to appeal to a cross section of consumers varying from avid gamers, busy professionals and thrill-seeking youngsters.
Running on Android ICS 4.0.3, the tablet features a 1.2GHz processor and 1GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32 GB. The tablet has been launched with a reverse data bundling alliance with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. Consumers buying this tablet will get a BSNL SIM Card of 4 GB data with 2 month validity absolutely free.
Vijender Singh, MD, Pantel Technologies, expressed, “The Penta T-Pad WS802C Voice calling tablet PC, is launched with a unique accessory and multiple connectivity options at an affordable price of Rs 8,299.” Consumers can also buy a keyboard with an in-built stereo-phonic speaker system specifically for this model for Rs 1,499.
On the connectivity front, the device comes with mini USB, HDMI Port and Bluetooth. It also comes pre-loaded with many popular applications which include Facebook, Skype (for video calling), Angry Birds and more. The tablet is equipped with 5,000mAh battery and 3D graphics accelerator.
