With the launch of the latest Samsung Galaxy S III mini, the ‘mini’ tradition again comes alive in mobile world. South Korean handset major, Samsung has finally unveiled the mini version of its flagship device, Samsung Galaxy S III mini at an event in Germany. The phone was in news for some time now and was rumoured to be launched soon. The specifications and images were also leaked days before the official launch of the phone.

The device boasts a 4.0-inch Super AMOLED display with an 800×480 resolution compared to 4.8-inch and 720p high definition display of the larger SIII. It packs a 1GHz dual core processor along with 1GB RAM. The camera has also been reduced from 8.0-megapixel to 5.0-megapixel while the front facing camera is VGA.
