Samsung has announced the Wi-Fi only version of its Tab 2 called ‘Samsung Galaxy Tab 2311’. It has the same specifications as the Galaxy Tab 2 P3100 with the exception of a SIM card.
The tablet 2311 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It has a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024X600 pixels. The device supports a 3.15-megapixel rear camera, and a front WVGA video call camera. It has a 1 GHz dual core processor, 1GB RAM. Its inbuilt storage is 16GB which is further expandable via microSD card slot.
The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS. It houses 4,000mAh battery and starts at Rs. 13,990 onwards.
