UC Browser introduces Java 8.6 mobile internet browser

The update enables faster and more powerful download/upload management on feature phones.  It allows users to preview images before uploading and also enables Virtual keyboard optimization.

The update also brings the “Offline Download” function that lets people download content even though their phone memory has already been exhausted”. In the ‘Offline Download’ mechanism when the user’s device storage space is insufficient, the downloaded items are stored in the UDisk and users can open it without saving it on the local drive.

The ‘Offline Download’ function supports txtpdfdocxlspptumdzip and rar file formats.  The latest version of the browser adds a quick entry to the download tap, allowing users a quick access to the offline download management.

The Java 8.6 also reduces the upload time with 4x uploading speed. The company claims that it has over 300+ million users worldwide.
